Colorado Crums

Here's a photo of Jess, Peter, Jude, Ashley, and Aravis taken behind their home in Colorado Springs on our recent visit. With beautiful weather for camping, the two tents in the backyard accomodated the boys from Jonathan down to Jude, while the other adults and the girls slept in the house. Meals were eaten in shifts, at times, and often al fresco. Jude is entering 2nd grade this fall; Ashley will be in 1st grade; and Aravis is looking forward to Kindergarten!???

Three Generations of Crum Men

Here, apparently oblivious to the historical significance of the moment, is Daniel Peregrine Crum with his father Benjamin William and his grandpa David Alan.

Grand Tour Road Trip II: Summer 2007

The first Grand Tour Road Trip began in Florida and took Mom, Elisabeth, William, and Jesse to visit all the brothers living away from home at the time. That was three years ago this October. We visited Nate at his Air Force school in Texas. Spent a long weekend with Peter and his family in Colorado. Ben took the train to Colorado and drove with us to Indiana to see him and Matt. Then we headed south again and saw Jon at Covenant College before returning home to Valrico.

The Second Grand Tour Road Trip began in Maryland this June and took Pop, Mom, Thomas, David, Stephen, Elisabeth, William, and Jesse to see all the brothers living away from home. We drove to Indiana where we saw Matt (now engaged to Emily, hurrah!); Ben and Michal with their first-born son Daniel; Jon; and Nate who had ridden his motorcycle from Louisiana. After a short week in Indiana we, along with Jon and Nate, drove to Colorado to see Peter, Jess, Jude, Ashley and Aravis. Here is a photo of the Colorado contingent (minus Jess who was working) at the top of Pike's Peak.

Experiment in Adding Images

Pop and I spent two days in Annapolis at the end of May, celebrating our 32nd anniversary. Here he is on the campus of the Naval Academy.
This is my first attempt at including pictures on my blog!
When I have figured out how to transfer my vacation photos from his computer to mine I will post some of those, too.
If this works, I'll have to explore the other buttons at the top of this page to see what other amazing effects I can add!
