Paradox
Bright lights and loud noises give me headaches.
So why do I love fireworks so much?
WELCOME to this on-line journal of my thoughts and of the events of our lives written for my children, near and far. And now featuring the work-in-progress curriculum guide for the Titus 2 Institute.

The light from fireworks seems to be less harsh on the eyes as say bright sun on freshly fallen snow or fluorescent bulbs with their unfriendly flicker. A bulk of what the eye takes in during fireworks is darkness and thus light is not as intrusive. As for the loud bang of bursting shells this noise is far less a pain producer as say William and Jesse screaming or Stephen's loud music, or the vocal levels of teenage girls and their girlfriends. Would fireworks being shot off inside the confines of your abode be as loved? Or would said headache follow? My thoughts, my musings, take them for what they're worth
by that reasoning, if Jill and her girlfriends were shot into the sky (at night), the sound of them would not be annoying or headache inducing, I submit that it still would be.
I love how Ben thinks he can argue with himself without anyone knowing he's crazy.
I will point out that there was at least a 23 hour interval between the 'GuessWhichSon' comment and my comment... not to mention that I am not a poet, so the unknown comment is obviously not mine.
Can I kindly add that most of the words are spelled correctly, providing further evidence of who did not post the comment. I suggest that it was Col. Mustard w/ the candlestick, in the Conservatory.
Mom, are you able to post from England?
I am here outside Harrogate. Once I finish checking out the blog I will try to update with a new post. I have succeeded in downloading our photos (almost 400 so far!) to this computer, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to put any up to show you all.
Love to everyone,
Mom
By the way, it's almost noon here.
